Tony began his career in financial markets in 1990 and initially worked within investment banks as a fixed income executive serving institutional investors in the UK and Middle East. He then joined the Swiss Re Group where he worked for 10 years, becoming the head of the London offices of Conning Asset Management, a business focussed on the investment portfolio management needs of insurance companies.

He completed his full-time employment career with Securis Investment Partners, an alternative investment manager working on behalf of pension funds, family offices, insurers and HNW investors. Tony was responsible for business development and latterly the management of client relationships in the UK and Australia. His extensive involvement with insurance and pension fund investors has provided him with a wide knowledge of investments and a good understanding of company governance and operational issues. Tony is also a non-executive director of Twelve Capital which is an independent investment manager specialising in insurance investments for institutional clients.
